StartLife
As StartLife’s Startup Scout, Jorien Hattink finds and screens promising agrifoodtech startups for the StartLife Accelerate program as well as for direct introductions to and events with StartLife’s Corporate and Investor partners. As such, she has a leading role in StartLife’s startup selection process.
Before joining the team at StartLife in July 2022, Jorien worked at one of our alumni startups, FUMI Ingredients, in the agrifoodtech sector for two years. In 2019, she obtained her master’s in Environmental and Biobased Biotechnology from Wageningen University and Research. She also has a bachelor’s degree in LifeSciences from the HAN University of Applied Sciences.
Jorien is enthusiastic about biobased solutions to industrial problems. Her goal is to support startups in changing the industry.
